I'm thinking about building another car for 2010 which means I "Might" be selling the Soarer come the end of the season so soonish, if the right offer came along, otherwise I'll be keeping it for a few more years yet.

Front cover car of Japanese Performance Mag

Probably one of the best known cars in the UK drift scene, it is unique in Europe which has proved great for sponsors over the years, as well as being a very competitive 450-500bhp car depending on how much boost you give it. It has proved super reliable over the past four years.

It's succesfully competed in: D1GB, EDC, Prodrift, JDM Allstars to name a few since its initial build in 2004/5.

For your info, the chassis is based on the MK3 Supra MA70/JZA70 series so running gear & parts are readily available. It's 15cm longer wheelbase than a Supra though & it's 4.7m long! It's huge !

1988 Z20 MK2 Soarer (Road Registered in the UK)
Originally a rare factory manual 1G-GTE Twin Turbo non sunroof model
    Imported from Japan in 2003
Car was in mint rust free condition to start with & still more or less is in excellent condition for a drift car.
Mileage was only 100k km's back in 2004 not done a lot of miles since then maybe 10k

1JZ-GTE engine low mileage engine fitted start of 2009
Garrett GT3076r Single Turbo on SS Manifold
    Racegate 50mm External Wastegate
    550cc Injectors
Emanage Blue & Full Ignition/Fuel Harness
3" Custom SS Exhaust with optional bung 98db or 105db at 4000rpm
    Custom made V-Mount intercooler
Solid engine mounts but still super smooth!
Engine oil Cooler 19row & Power Steering 9row Oil Cooler
HKS Twin Plate Clutch & Lightweight Flywheel
Comes with 3 Diff's One unknown 2 way LSD, One welded, One spare Stock LSD
30L FIA Bag Tank with baffle foam & sump in alloy case & Bosch 044 pump
VEMS Wideband System (possibly sold without this)

Recently dyno'd at 430bhp at 1.4bar & 300bhp at 3250 rpm on 99ron fuel. She's mapped to 1.8 bar on 99ron fuel, plenty more power with a good mapping session & 540bhp potential with race fuel on the turbo set up. I've mapped it to be safe at its current power levels on pump fuel. Probably the liveliest turbo set up known to man!

Has been GPS varified at 186mph/303kmh with the tall diff ratio, does low 12sec quarter miles too in drift set up & 53 second laps of Brands Hatch Indy Circuit - It's FAST!!!

This car IS probably the most reliable top spec drift car in the UK, built to be reliable from the ground up & in over 100 competitions it's only failed about 5 times which was a clutch issue now fixed.

All original panels throughout, stretched arches front & rear, major lightweighting work has taken place on non structural parts eg the doors, boot, bonnet, bootlid, front end etc. Polycarbonate "Maggard" scratch resistant side & rear windows with blue tint. Custom built EDC Spec 6 point cage with additional crossed doorbars drivers side & single doorbars passenger side. Painted last year in VW Polo Red with orange pearl (looks stunning) Has been touched up a few times but still looks mega.
SJS Graphic's did the mega graphic work, which beneath the main sponsors logo's is still there in all its glory. Uses JDM Spec blue & gold chrome vinyl the best stuff.

The car has only ever suffered two bodywork accidents in 4 years of action, one on the left front corner & one right rear quarter. Nothing more than minor damage & no structural damage ever. Diana bodykit, front & rear bumpers have seen some action Wink but all still in one piece easy to fix
Car weighs 1220kg with 30l of fuel on board. (over 200kg lighter than stock!)

Gaz custom built shocks all round with adjustable damping
Custom modified front hubs & steering rack 90degrees lock to lock
JZZ30 bottom arms with modified front subframe
JZZ30 Grooved front disks & twin pot calipers (recent new pads all round)
    Modified rear subframe & mountings
Some serious work has gone into this cars handling
Hydraulic Handbrake plus a good factory internal drum/disk handbrake
New HEL hydraulic lines throughout the car
Currently fitted with Do-Luck 666 wheels 18X9+22 all round
Others wheels available extra include 4 x Work Meister S1's in white

Monaco Cobra FIA in date seats, drivers side fixed, passenger side on
    adjustable rails
    6 Point 3" Sabelt Harness's
Stripped wiring loom down to basics, no heater but it is supplied
Custom built lightweight dash for easy access to electrics
FIA spec plumbed in fire extinguisher engine bay & internal outputs - In Date
External emergency pull cables in Stainless Steel
    FIA Battery cut out
Switches for fans, fuel pump, ECU fault codes, Gauges, VEMS wideband, with essential tell tale lights.
HKS MK1 Boost controller IMHO the simplest & best
    JDM Spangly gearknob
    JDM Spangly alloy pedal covers
    Suede deep dished steering wheel
    Lightweight simplified steering column
(Possibly sold without my lovely SARD Gauges & E01 controller)

She currently is currently a track car only, it could be put on the road (in the UK anyway) with some very minor work, indicators, washer bottle mot type stuff etc but it's been a trailer queen this last year.

There are probably some things I've forgotton (read lots) & I'm happy to answer any questions.

I will happily deliver the car anywhere in Europe at cost. I'm planning on doing the IDS Finale round 31st October at the Nurburgring which would be it's last event for me in 2009.

Possibilty of the car also coming with it's 2004 Brian James 2.6 Ton Trailer that it usually lives on though this would be negoatiated as an extra at 1800 Euro

I'm open to serious offers around the £10k or E12k mark, with a decent spares package including spare JZ engine, wheels, parts etc. I've put over £25k & more blood sweat & tears than you can imagine into into this car over the past 4 years, it will be a very sad sight to her go but then again I'll happily compete in it at top level if I'm keeping it

Car is based in N Dorset UK & viewing is available anytime, happy to assist any potential purchasing sorting flights etc.

PM me, call or text on 0044 7970 642129 Smile
